World’s First Heat Map Logo

How do you ensure your brand event doesn’t go unnoticed at a bustling arts festival? Do something that’s never been done before. To bring Lancôme’s “Rôses by…’’ exhibit to life at the Luminato Festival, we created a virtual photo gallery installation that featured work by some of Canada’s top beauty, fashion and lifestyle bloggers. The twist? While gallery viewers scanned the sky with their phones to view the photos, mobile software tracked their interactions and movements on a heat map. The heat map activity generated by curious festival-goers created the image of a rose – Lancôme’s iconic logo – and a world’s first.
