Toronto 360 Sculpture

Toronto 360, a public art competition won by Cundari, celebrates the city’s myriad opportunities and elusive charms. Permanently on display at the corner of Markham Road and Steeles Avenue, our winning design is a structure that consists of loft red channel steel letters on a concrete plinth, spelling out TORONTO. With a common beginning and end, it expresses a city that does not reveal itself immediately, but rather slowly unveils its experience, meaning and possibilities. It is a fitting tribute to one of Canada’s greatest cities (and our home).
