CUNDARI CONTINUES TO GROW; NEW TALENT AMID GLOBAL RECOGNITION
Toronto, October 16, 2014 – Cundari continues to grow, announcing key new hires in the wake of global recognition.
On October 3rd, WARC named Cundari as the top global creative agency for automotive ad campaigns, beating out WPP’s “Team Detroit” and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, among others. Cundari was also one of only two Canadian agencies listed on the WARC 100 Smartest Marketing Campaigns in the World. Of those two, only Cundari had more than one campaign make the list and earlier this year the agency received a Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide Globes Awards “Best of the Best” nod.
“We are honoured to be receiving such prestigious international recognition,” says Jennifer Steinmann, EVP and Managing Director, Cundari. “In most instances we are the only completely independent and Canadian agency on these lists. It is an absolute testament to the outstanding team at Cundari and our courageous clients. The attention has certainly contributed to the recent addition of new talent and clients.”
High-caliber additions have been made across the agency since April including Adam Bacsalmasi, Director of user experience. With 10 years in advertising, six specializing in User Experience, Bacsalmasi has led large scale and complex website designs for Kijiji, LCBO, Wind Mobile, and AutoTrader.com. Yvonne Tsang, Senior Digital Project Manager, also joins the Cundari digital team from OgilvyOne, bringing over a decade of B2B web-based marketing experience.
The strategy team has added two new strategic planners in Carson Marks and Mat Meir. Meir, is a former Digital Planner at John St. and Director of livemetric, an advertising measurement platform. Marks, a former strategic lead at GREY Canada brings valuable consumer insight and experience to Cundari clients including BMW and Cineplex. Vikki Kuzmich, Director, Production and Art Services, the most recent addition, will be overseeing all production at Cundari.
“With new client wins to be announced shortly, it is a very exciting time at Cundari,” said Steinmann. “We are so appreciative of our long term clients who have taken risks with us and by doing so, achieved business results and international accolades. We know that the new team members joining us will contribute to the continuation of the agency’s success.”
