Tough Day Contest
Having a bad day? Tell someone and you’ll feel better. That’s the insight that led us to create the Tough Day Contest, inviting users to tell us about their tough day for a chance to win a free phone. We drove traffic to our contest microsite through cost-effective channels such as washroom posters and on coasters in restaurants, where our target often meets to vent. Whiners could also enter directly through our online banner ads, adding to the immediacy and ease of entry…helping make this contest a resounding success. The fact that people love to complain didn’t hurt, either.
